Subject: Drawing steel



Steel entities can be drawn in many different shapes.

To draw steel

   1   Do one of the following to choose Steel ():

   On the ribbon, choose Draw > Steel and then the steel style (in AEC Entities).

   On the menu, choose Draw > AEC Entities > Detailing > Steel and then the steel shape.

   On the Steel toolbar, click a steel shape.

   Type steel and then press Enter.

   2   Select the steel dimensions from the list.

   3   Click OK.

   4   To mirror the shape about its x-axis, choose XFlip. To mirror the shape about its y-axis, choose YFlip.

   5   Specify the insertion point.

   6   Specify the angle of rotation.

   7   Specify the length. If the length is 0, a two-dimensional steel shape is created.
