Specify the background or backdrop of your model when rendered using the Full Render command. A background is an infinite planar surface behind the drawing, and it will reflect off of any reflective surfaces in your model. The background is not affected by lighting however, so no shadows or highlights will be seen on the background. By default, no background is used (black background). Changes to these settings do not apply immediately to a previously rendered image; use the Full Render command again to see your changes. Render settings are saved in the drawing file. DIALOG BOX OPTIONS Automatically Generate Rendered Background Surface Select to display a background when rendering. If no material was previously selected for the background, the Background Properties dialog box displays. Material Displays the name of the material to use as the background.
