Use this tab to set user paths and system files. DIALOG BOX OPTIONS User Paths Lists the folders that will be searched when working with files, fonts, online help, external references, menus, tool palettes, hatch patterns, blocks, print style tables, print output files, temporary files, templates, and color books. Click or press the F2 key to modify a selected path. Double-click a path to open the path in Windows Explorer. Right-click to open a shortcut menu of options. If typing path information instead of selecting it, the syntax is the same as Windows paths, using drive letters, colons, and backslashes. You can also use Universal Naming Convention (UNC) paths. You can separate the paths with semicolons, such as: C:\Program Files\CADdirect\Support;C:\ Add Click or press the Insert key to add a new path for the current category. Remove Click or press the Delete key to remove the selected path. Up Click to move a folder location up one position in the search order. Available for categories with more than one path. Down Click to move a folder location down one position in the search order. Available for categories with more than one path. Reset Click to revert changes and reset the folder location to the default. Browse Click to choose a folder location for the selection. Program Files Defines the files used by the system for logging, templates, alternate fonts, and font mapping. For example, Templates determines which .dwt file to use as the default template for new drawings when one is created with the New command. Select the item to change, and then click Browse to choose a file. Or click the listed file and type your changes. Browse Click to choose a file for the selection. Tell me about... How do I... |
