Find dialog box

Allows you to search for drawing files according to criteria such as filenames, filetypes, and dates.

DIALOG BOX OPTIONS

Find Now Click to search for matching files. The results are listed in the bottom half of the dialog box.

Stop Click to stop an in-progress search.

New Search Click to clear the search details and return to the defaults.

NAME AND LOCATION TAB

Named Enter the text to search for in the filenames. You can use ? (match any single character) and * (match all characters) wildcards.

Type Select the type of file to search for, or select All to search all files in the specified folder.

Look In Enter the folder to search, or click Browse to select the folder.

Include subfolders Select to include folders in the search that are located under the folder specified in Look In.

DATE TAB

All Files Select this option to search for files regardless of date.

Find All Files Created or Modified Select this option to specify date criteria for the search:

• Between Enter a begin date and end date for the files you want to search.
• During the previous months Enter the number of previous months that you want to search for files.
• During the previous days Enter the number of previous days that you want to search for files.
