Preferences dialog box

Sets preferences for working with multiline text.

DIALOG BOX OPTIONS

Formatted Text Select whether text is resized using relative or absolute values. For example, text with 0.2 height can be resized using a relative value (2x) or an absolute value (0.4).

Enable AutoNumber To turn on the AutoNumber feature, mark the checkbox. When entering numbers at the beginning of lines, the text will automatically be formatted as a numbered list.

White Text Color Rule Select the default color definition to apply to white text in the Multiline Text dialog box (if multiline text is not assigned its own background fill).

Black Text Color Rule Select the default color definition to apply to black text in the Multiline Text dialog box (if multiline text is not assigned its own background fill).

Background Color Rule Select the default color definition to apply to the background in the Multiline Text dialog box (if multiline text is not assigned its own background fill).

Diameter Symbol Select the diameter symbol. Generic TrueType fonts do not have a diameter symbol shape, in which case you can use the "O" character for the diameter symbol. A few fonts with CADdirect use a diameter symbol with the code U+2205. To use the available option according to the current font when you choose Insert Symbol > Diameter from the Multiline Text Options menu, choose Depend Font Type in the list.
