Column Settings dialog box


Sets column settings for multiline text.

DIALOG BOX OPTIONS

Column Type Select the type of columns:

  • Dynamic Columns Automatically generates the number of columns according to the amount of text and the height selection: Auto Height generates another column automatically when text exceeds the Height value, and Manual Height generates new columns only where you add a new column using Insert Column Break.
  • Static Columns Forces the number of columns to a fixed number specified in Columns (below).
  • No Columns Turns off columns.

Columns If the Column Type is set to Static Columns, enter the number of columns for multiline text.

Height For dynamic columns set to auto height, enter the default auto height at which a new column will be generated.

Width Enter the column width and gutter width (the space between columns). You can also enter the total width and the column width adjusts automatically.
