Customize - Double-Click Actions

Use the Customize User Interface dialog box to create or modify double-click actions. Double-click actions are assigned to commands and executed when you double-click an entity. You can set up double-click actions to start a specific command for a specific entity type. If an entity does not have a double-click action assigned to it, double-clicking the entity opens the Properties pane.

In the Customize User Interface dialog box, click the Customize tab, select a customization file (for example, ICAD), then expand Double-Click Actions in the list.

To create a new double-click action

Right-click a double-click action in the list, then choose New. The new double-click action will be inserted under your selection in the list.

Type the double-click action name, and then press Enter.

In Command Name, enter the name of the command to carry out when double-clicking in the drawing. For example, MTEDIT starts the Multiline Text Editor.

In Description, optionally type a one-sentence description of the double-click action.

In Entity Type, enter the name of the entity type that when double-clicked, starts the command. For example, if you enter MTEXT, the action starts the command when you double-click multiline text.

To copy and paste a double-click action

Right-click the double-click action in the list, then choose Copy.

Right-click where you want to locate the copy, then click Paste.

To remove a double-click action

Right-click a double-click action in the list, then choose Delete. The program prompts whether you are sure you want to remove the double-click action. To remove it, choose Yes. To keep it, choose No.
