Use the Customize User Interface dialog box to create or modify keyboard shortcuts. Using a keyboard shortcut, you can carry out a command with a single keystroke. Unlike an alias or command name, you do not need to press Enter to carry out the command. In the Customize User Interface dialog box, click the Customize tab, select either a workspace or a customization file (for example, ICAD), then expand Keyboard Shortcuts in the list. To add a new keyboard shortcutRight-click a shortcut item in the list, then choose Insert Accelerator. The new keyboard shortcut will be inserted above your selection in the list. Press the keyboard combination, then click OK. Allowable keyboard shortcut keys are:
In Properties, enter the command name for the keyboard shortcut in Command Name. You can customize the command macro. For example, you can remove the ^C^C^C (which cancels a command in progress) or add other commands, such as: ^C^C^CZOOM;E;QSAVE;QPRINT To specify properties for a keyboard shortcutSelect a keyboard shortcut in the Customization list. The Properties area displays on the right. Specify the desired options for the selected item. For more details, see Customize tab > Properties. To copy and paste a keyboard shortcutRight-click the keystroke in the list, then choose Copy. Right-click where you want to locate the copy, then click Paste. To remove a keyboard shortcutRight-click the keystroke in the list, then choose Delete. The program prompts whether you are sure you want to remove the keyboard shortcut. To remove it, choose Yes.
