Alias: SC

Changes the scale of existing entities, either enlarging them or reducing them proportionately in x, y, and z directions. A scale factor greater than 1 enlarges the entities; a scale factor between 0 and 1 reduces them.

 

 

  1. Select the entity you want to scale.
  2. Select the base point.

Result.

FILter/<Select entities to scale>: Select the entities you want to scale. Choose FILter to filter the selection by properties.

Base point: Select the base point of the entities.

Base scale ◆ <Scale factor>: Enter the scale factor, the default setting. To increase the size of the entity, enter a scale factor greater than 1. To decrease the size of the entity, enter a scale factor less than 1. To specify the base scale, choose Base scale.

Choose Base scale.

Base scale <1>: Enter the base scale of the entities.

New scale: Enter the new scale of the entities.
