Experience Level: Intermediate

Rotates entities around a three-dimensional axis. The rotation angle is the difference between the starting and ending angles.

 

 

  1. Select the entity you want to rotate.
  2. Select the first point of rotation axis.
  3. Select the second point of rotation axis.
  4. Enter the angle of rotation.

Result.

Select entities to rotate: Select the entity you want to rotate.

Select axis by: Entity/Last/View/Xaxis/Yaxis/Zaxis/<2 Points>: Press Return to select two points of the rotation axis. To specify the axis using any of the other available methods, choose Entity, Last, View, Xaxis, Yaxis, or Zaxis.

Specify the first rotation axis point: Click the first point of the rotation axis.

Specify the second rotation axis point: Click the second point of the rotation axis.

Reference/<Rotation Angle>: Enter the angle of rotation, the default setting. To specify the base angle, choose Base angle.
