() Ribbon: Application button > Drawing Utilities > Recover Menu: File > Recover Keyboard: _RECOVER Displays the Open Drawing dialog box so you can open a drawing that you suspect is damaged, for example, a drawing damaged during a power outage or system crash. The drawing file is restored as much as possible with its original contents. You can recover .dwg, .dwg, .dxf, and .dwt files with this command. To find files on another drive, use the Look In list. You can navigate to find the file name you want, or type the name into the File Name field. If the AUDITCTL system variable is set to On and errors are found in the file, an ASCII file is created that describes the errors that were fixed in the file. The ASCII file is saved in the same folder as the recovered drawing, and has the same name as the drawing file, but with an .adt file extension. Tell me about...How do I... |
