() Toolbar: Format > Drawing Limits Ribbon: Draw > Drawing Limits (in Settings) Menu: Format > Drawing Limits Keyboard: _LIMITS Experience Level: Intermediate Changes the Reference Grid and Zoom > All boundaries. Limits are two-dimensional points representing the lower left and upper right limits in the World Coordinate System (WCS). Limits are off[on]: ON[OFF] ◆ <Lower left corner> <0.0000,0.0000>: To turn limits on, choose ON. To turn limits off, choose OFF. To set new limits, enter the x,y-coordinates for the lower left corner. Upper right corner <0.0000,0.0000>: To set new limits, enter the x,y-coordinates for the upper right corner. NOTE When the system variable LIMCHECK is turned on, you are restricted from drawing entities outside the rectangular area you define when you use the Limits command. To draw entities outside the drawing limits, set the LIMCHECK variable to 0. To restrict drawing to within the drawing limits, set the LIMCHECK variable to 1.
