Toggles the Center entity snap mode on or off. When set to ON, you can snap a new entity that you are drawing to the center point of another entity. You can snap to the center point of arcs, circles, ellipses, and elliptical arcs.

You can use the Center command as a one-time (temporary) snap while you are using another command. You can use the CEN aliases within another command, but you must use the full keyboard entry CENTER at the prompt.

 

  1. When snapping to the center point of an entity, position the pointer over the entity. The new entity snaps to the center point of the entity you select.
