() Ribbon: Insert > Block Definition > Base Point (in Block Definition) Menu: Draw > Block > Base Point Keyboard: _BASE Alias: BA Sets the base point for inserting this drawing into another drawing. Base point for inserting this drawing <0.0000, 0.0000, 0.0000>: To accept the current base point, the default, press Enter, or enter the x,y,z-coordinates for the new base point. Entering the z-coordinate is optional. If you do not enter a z-coordinate, the program defaults to the value stored in the ELEVATION system variable. NOTE Using the Base command is similar to specifying the insertion point when you create a block. When you insert a drawing into another drawing, the program assumes the insertion point (base) of 0,0,0. With the Base command, you can change the insertion point to another value. Tell me about... |
