When you enter options while in the Arc command, use the uppercase letter of the option you want. If you enter the complete word for Center or End, the Center Snap or Endpoint Snap commands are initiated. You can also enter other Entity Snaps options while in the Arc command. If you have not drawn an entity in this session, the following prompt is displayed in the command bar: Center ◆ <Start of arc>: To draw an arc using the default method, select a start point. To specify the center point of the arc, choose Center. If you have drawn an entity in this session, the following prompt is displayed in the command bar: ENTER to use last point ◆ Center ◆ Follow ◆ <Start of arc>: To start an arc, specify a point as its starting point, the default. To use the last point drawn as the start point for the arc, press Enter. To specify the center point of the arc, choose Center. To draw a new arc using the previous entity's endpoint as the starting point, choose Follow. The new arc will be tangent to the previous entity. NOTE After you press Enter, the Arc command uses the x,y,z-coordinates stored in the LASTPOINT system variable. The Follow option uses the angle stored in the LASTANGLE system variable.
