Experience Level: Intermediate

Draws the lower half of a sphere as a 3D mesh. The flat side of the sphere faces up.

To draw a dish based on the radius

  1. Specify the radius of the dish.

Center of dish: Specify the center point of the dish.

Diameter ◆ <Radius of dish>: Enter the radius or specify a point.

Number of divisions around dish <16>: Specify the number of horizontal divisions around the dish, usually between 4 and 20. A large number of divisions takes the program longer to display the dish. A small number of divisions makes the dish unrecognizable.

Number of top-to-bottom divisions <8>: Specify the number of vertical divisions up and down the dish.

To draw a dish based on the diameter

  1. Specify the diameter of the dish.

Center of dish: Specify the center point of the dish.

Diameter of dish: Enter the diameter of the dish, or specify a second point.
